About The Mayflower - What We Do
The Mayflower provides eligible young people aged 16-25, who live in Bedfordshire and Luton and have learning difficulties and/or disabilities, the opportunity to fulfil their potential in society. We do this by developing individual tailor-made education and training plans that enable young people to develop skills and make links with the opportunities that they may want to access as an adult and active member of their community.
We work with local authorities, educational and business community partners to provide a diverse range of opportunities, ensuring learners’ needs are met. We also encourage the involvement of parents and carers.
Where appropriate, funding is available via the Learning & Skills Council to enable the development of bespoke and innovative learning solutions.
